I really like the fact that from almost wherever you are in Dorking you can see the hills, been here just over 18 months and it still gives me pleasure every time I catch sight of them.

We've been to this restaurant twice and booked for our next Saturday lunch with friends. Our experience has been great. The food delicious, the service very polite and helpful, the music soothing. We just love it.

Pleased you liked' Brockham Bonfire and our Village. Important that some of the very few evenings of rural fun are allowed to continue without the 'elf and safety brigade stopping such events. Do come again, it's not a fashion parade, wear an old coat and boots and respect all those that give up a thrird of their year to make it happen in the name of charity and worthy causes.

Lovely place for ladies to relax, even if unaccompanied.

I think it was more New England than Colorado, all leafy & orange. The horseradish sauce was the most delectable blend of cream and spice I've ever put in my mouth.

I felt as I am the aforementioned 'W' that I now needed to place comment on my fondness for Schmos. It has dwindled. In fact, possibly more than dwindled. I have looked under the bed, in the airing cupboard and behind the fridge and it actually seems to have been lost.
The lovely Mr W and I went for an impromptu evening meal there recently and where distinctly underwhelmed.
We will not be rushing back anytime soon, which is such a shame because it used to be soooooo yummy :o(

Sorry to, say I've never read such drivel in all my life. I suggest people try the three Lions for themselves before taking notice of this rot.
Mike Wormersley's a Michelin starred chef (not that he'd ever make a song and dance about it - he's not chasing plaudits, just running a high quality family restaurant) - he's also been awarded 3 AA rosettes. he trained under Raymond Blanc and his subsequent CV reads well. Wife Jayne was once pastry chef at Cliveden and her puddings are out of this world, as is her bread. Hospitality is invariably wonderful. It's true to say the majority of waiting staff are local students, but so what! They're helpful and efficient - something which cannot sometimes be said of "trained" staff. Reece the manager is friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating.
A small word of advice. If you're after a quick meal, either don't go or make it clear from the outset. the three Lions assumes, rightly in my opinion, that good food should be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. the delay between courses is very deliberately done as an aid to proper digestion and enjoyment.

Also, the waiting staff looked liked Busted. Surly college students, top buttons undone, eyes fixated on the ground. I was like that once.
